TrainingA801 - AVAYA ETHERNET ROUTING SWITCH (4500-5500-5600 SERIES) ADMINSTRATION AND CONFIGURATION Price: $1,995 Canadian (plus applicable taxes) Course Description With lectures and hands-on labs, this course covers topics that include switch administration and management via NNCLI and Java Device Manager, Physical layer aggregation, resilient Flexible Advanced Stacking Technology (FAST), failover and trunking concepts such as Multi Link Trunking (MLT), Distributed MLT (DMLT), Layer 2 concepts such as VLAN’s, Spanning tree protocol and basic Layer 3 routing. The course also teaches how to prioritize traffic using QoS and use of IGMP snooping and IGMP proxies Intended Audience This course is intended for technical support personnel who are required to maintain network consisting of Avaya Ethernet Routing Switches 4500, 5500 or 5600 series. Prerequisite Skills The prerequisites for this course are a practical understanding of Layer 2 and 3 protocols; and experience with networking infrastructure products including bridges, switches, and routers.
